Highlights from the 2008-09 school year: 
- CISS served 7,193 children and 514 families at 19 school sites
- 366 volunteers provided 2,321 hours of service
- Among the 203 students that received intensive one-on-one support, 76% made academic improvements and 96% stayed in school
